Research Interests

My research interest is developing strategies to stabilize, control, and utilize flames for various applications, including energy conversion, material synthesis, and carbon capture. To this end, I have studied the local flame structure and its dynamics encountered in unconventional situations, such as the combustion of inhomogeneous mixtures and the use of alternative fuels. My current interests are primarily in elucidating coupled mechanisms of chemical kinetics and mass transport for stable and clean combustion of alternative fuels such as ammonia.
