Research Interests

My main research objectives lies in BSF, also known as Black Soldier Flies. With the team, I would like gain processing knowledge of waste management, waste reusability and conversion to resourceful materials such as bio-fuel. I want to learn how build a process plant from conceptualization stage to the construction stage. Obtaining industrial and experimental knowledge will fuel my decision in the future about where I want to go. Therefore, this project is ideal for me as it incorporates both aspects.

Professional Profile

  • 2021-2022: Aided in a prototyping of a XR/VR and a mannequin projects to help medical students and therapist to learn about human anatomy and various pressure that can be applied. This projects and its corresponding tools will be used to teach future students in the medical field.

  • 2020-2021: Conducted research to improve and enhance natural gas processing for Fuel Gas Skid design

  • 2018-2019:Worked on debottlenecking an existing Black Liquor Recovery and exploring newer technologies to replace the current multi-effect evaporator and boiler.

  • 2017: Developed the predictive correlations for the ignition delay times of various FACE fuels.

  • 2016: Modified a microflow reactor for accurate data acquisition

  • 2015: Assisted a Ph.D. student in constructing a Low-Pressure Chamber for Mass Spectrometry measurements
