Research Interests

My interests are mainly on the energy field, specially new concepts for internal combustion engines. An approach mixing experimental measurements and computational simulations is my preferred path to research on ICE topics. My experience on experimental measurements cover emission and performance of the ICE in both, test bench and on board, experiments. About the computational simulations my principle interest is the development code for CFD simulations related to ICE, particularly for OpenFOAM. My interest also include waste recovery energy systems and alternate fuels. My research is been focus on the development from new combustion concepts, which can reduce local and global emissions levels on ICE.
