Research Interests

My research interests are on advanced combustion engines (HCCI, PCCI or RCCI) through experimental approaches for meeting economic and environmental concerns. My main goal is to bring knowledges on fuel/engine interactions during the overall combustion process to achieve high efficiencies engines with low fuel consumption and low pollutant emissions. My work includes the use of different types of fuels (alternative fuels and surrogates) as well as innovative technologies and strategies for future transportation applications.
