Research Interests

My research broadly focuses on understanding fundamental shockwave phenomena and realizing novel interdisciplinary applications of shockwaves. Specifically, my current research investigates supersonic flows in miniature-scales through extensive experiments and computational efforts to develop new miniature shock tubes. I am also exploring non-conventional uses of large-scale shock tubes in material synthesis/modification. My research involves implementing advanced flow diagnostic techniques and innovative experimental test rigs to give insights into flow physics.
