Research Interests

Dr. Zhang’s research interest mainly includes two topics: microstructure evolution simulations for multicomponent multiphase materials and efficient numerical algorithms, especially in dendrite growth, crack growth, ionic intercalation of rechargeable batteries, alternating direction implicit schemes for partial differential equations, and matrix iteration in 2D and 3D numerical simulations.
