Research Interests

I am interested in the energy sector, specifically fuel and engines for automotive application. My research areas include conventional and bio-derived fuels, emissions and performance enhancements for modern and future engines. I am interested in production, spray characterization, combustion and then the emission aspects of biofuels. The techniques used include Laser based optical diagnostics, Engine dynamometers and emission analysers. I am also interested in tribological aspect of the same, especially in elastohydrodynamic lubrication. The current research is directed towards studying the effect of fuels’ physical and chemical properties for their adaption in GCI engines.
