Research Interests

My research aims to investigate processes for extracting value from organic waste streams. I explore different thermochemical conversion pathways (gasification and pyrolysis) and reaction steps in order to obtain valuable gas/liquid/solid products, which can then be upgraded to target different applications. One of my research lines is green methanol production from genetically modified algae waste via supercritical water gasification.
