Congratulations to Prof. Mani Sarathy and his team on becoming one of two finalists in the Omnipreneurship Awards 2021!

This is the second Grand Challenge and this year's topic was to find a solution that will process / re-refine used vegetable cooking oils into biodegradable lubricants in a cost-effective, commercially viable manner while reducing the impact of lubricants on the global ecosystem.

Those with a knack for stretching limits, thinking outside of the box and a desire to build a better world were invited to participate.

Al-Dabbagh Group (ADG) together with Petrolube Oil Company has launched the Grand Challenge, with the goal of identifying a technological solution to create a circular ecosystem across business unit’s areas of operations.
