Franz Hofer is leading AVL’s consulting business within the Powertrain Engineering business unit. Franz supports AVL’s clients in re-shaping their approach to future mobility. H2 combustion engines as one of the possible solutions are increasingly part of AVL’s consulting projects. As part of his role and responsibilities within AVL, Franz has published various articles and reports about strengths and weaknesses of H2 combustion engines, always in comparison to other technologies. Franz strongly believes that H2 combustion engine can play an important role in de-carbonization.
