Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Thermofluids in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and an Affiliate Researcher in the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Aviation and Spece Exploration (IRC-ASE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Before that (2017 – 2019), I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, KFUPM. I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from KFUPM in 2017. My current research focuses on energy, clean propulsion, and separation. I published > 85 peer-reviewed journal articles, 8 US-granted patents and 4 filed, and two authored books. I currently serve as a “Young Editor” in the  Applied Energy journal (Q1, IF = 11.2)
