Myles Bohon is a guest professor in the Chair of Pressure Gain Combustion at the Technische Universität Berlin, Institute of Fluid Dynamics and Technical Acoustics since 2019. He completed his Ph.D. from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2016 focusing on formation of NOx in oxygenated fuels. After his Ph.D., he began a post-doc at TUB developing the rotating detonation combustion research group there. His research interests include the fundamental and experimental aspects of detonation, rotating detonation, and pressure gain combustion. Additionally, he is interested in more fundamental aspects of combustion and reacting flows with respect to chemical kinetics, plasma, and unsteady processes.
