Alshahrani is a General Director at the Saudi Space Agency (SSA). Alshahrani is leading the activation plans of space strategies, and the build-up of space programs.

Prior to SSA, Alshahrani worked at ARABSAT as Expert Space Segment Engineer. He has more than 14 years of experience working in the space sector including KACST and Lockheed Martin during which he supported space missions and led the integration of space and ground systems.

Alshahrani holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical & computer engineering.
