Biography

Fahd H. Cynndy is a distinguished transformation leader whose career focuses on unleashing the potential of
organizations and their people and building value for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Fahd's experience and
achievements span 20 years in the energy, aerospace, and new business development sectors. As a leader, Fahd's
ability to forge 'win/win' partnerships, cultivate talent, and lead with vision has been central to his ever-growing
track record of execution and delivering on expectations. His leadership style is well-known for the loyalty it

inspires and the legacy of resilience, business acumen, and innovation that he embeds in organizations.

In February 2021, Fahd accepted the role of Chief Executive Ocer at Saudia Technic, a world-class
maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) entity and subsidiary of the SAUDIA Group. Fahd has launched a dynamic
transformation strategy at Saudia Technic, beginning an accelerated journey to make Saudia Technic the region's
leading comprehensive end-to-end MRO solution provider. Before this position, Fahd served as CEO of Saudi
Ground Services (SGS). SGS is the driving force behind the ecient, safe, and courteous ground handling of

passengers and aircraft at 28 airports in Saudi Arabia, and it is also part of the SAUDIA Group.

Fahd's drive for innovation and entrepreneurial traits led him to become a founding partner of Reaction, a global
venture capital company based in the U.S. specializing in creating exponential change and promoting disruptive
innovation to solve global issues. Reaction aims to enhance the lives of one billion people in 10 years.
To amplify his contribution to the aviation sector and the region, focusing on meaningful growth beyond
short-term value realization, Fahd serves in a leadership capacity on several boards. Fahd is the Chairman of
Rotortrade, the Vice Chairman of The Helicopter Company (THC), and a board member of AviLease Company; all of
them are Public Investment Fund (PIF) companies. Additionally, Fahd is the Chairman of the Gulf Flight Safety
Association, an Executive Board member for Saudi Ground Services (SGS), and a board member of the Middle East
Propulsion Company Ltd. (M).
Fahd's early career began in 1995 as a Mechanical Engineer with Saudi Aramco, a world leader in energy. He shifted
his focus within Saudi Aramco to the aerospace industry, becoming a jet aircraft pilot in 2004. Fahd was selected for
the highly competitive leadership track in Saudi Aramco, culminating in his appointment as the Director of the
Saudi Aramco Aviation Department. During his tenure, Fahd transformed the department operationally and
nancially. It became a recognized standard of excellence regarding innovation, performance, and quality within
the aerospace and oil and gas industries.


The value of Fahd's leadership skills, insight, and business acumen was recognized by Saudi Aramco executive 
leadership with the appointment to several boards, including the Aramco Capital Company, the Aramco Associated Company, and the Saudi Aramco Diversity and Inclusion Board. Externally, Fahd accepted membership on the board of directors of the International Aviation Technical College in Riyadh and co-created and sponsored a ground handling diploma degree with King Abdulaziz University, contributing to aviation advancement and innovation in the education sector.

Fahd is an alumnus of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program. He holds an MBA
from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Western New England University, and an associate degree in Commercial
Aviation from the University of North Dakota.
