Biography

Edyta Dzieminska obtained a bachelor's and master’s degree in Power and Aeronautical Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. The academic journey took an international turn when she became an exchange student at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan during her graduate course. In 2013 she completed doctoral studies at Aoyama Gakuin University.

She joined Sophia University in Tokyo as an Assistant Professor in 2014 and in 2019 was promoted to Associate Professor, a position she currently holds.

Her laboratory, Aerospace and Combustion Laboratory is actively engaged in two main ongoing projects: experimental research on the rotating detonation engine and the development of a detonation code. These projects underscore her commitment to cutting-edge exploration and innovation in aerospace propulsion systems.
