Silvio Giancola is a Research Scientist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working under the supervision of Prof. Bernard Ghanem in the Image and Video Understanding Laboratory (IVUL), part of the Visual Computing Center (VCC) and the Artificial Intelligence Initiative (AII). In 2022, Silvio founded Thya Technology, a KAUST startup that enables AI for everyone through a no-code online platform that delivers AI-based computer vision as a service, through the generation of custom image detection models.
