Post-doctoral Fellow, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Toronto
Kangming Li is a post-doctoral fellow advised by Prof. Jason Hattrick-Simpers in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Toronto. He received his PhD in Physics at Paris-Saclay University, where he was a CEA-NUMERICS Fellow funded under the Marie Curie Actions. He was awarded the Dalla Torre Medal by the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials in 2022 for his work on understanding magnetic effects on thermodynamics and kinetics in concentrated alloys. His current research project is to accelerate the design of corrosion resistant high-entropy alloys by combining machine learning with high-throughput first principles calculations.
