Biography

Nicolas Jeuland is a French engineer in chemistry. He has been head of the « Fuels, Lubricant and emissions department» and fuel expert for IFPEN (former French Institute of Petroleum) during 15 years. In this position he has been in charge of the creation of the Aramco Research Center in Paris. He joined Safran in 2014 as Fellow expert in the field of fuels, alternative fuels and aviation environmental impact, in charge of the coordination of Safran R&T roadmap on SAF, hydrogen and non-CO2 impacts. He is leader of several working groups in major EU initiatives : ACARE (Advisory Council for Aviation Research in Europe), Hydrogen Europe, ETIP Bioenergy (European Technology and Innovation Plateform on Bioenergy). He is also a Reserve officer (Col) for the French energy logistic agency (SEO) in charge of decarbonisation roadmaps of armed forces and Associated member of the French Academie de l’Air et de l’Espace
