Research Interest

My research interest mainly includes the development of laser-based optical diagnostics techniques for combustion phenomena and chemistry kinetics. Specifically, applying the planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) and laser induced incandescence (LII) to measure the PAHs and soot formation in flame, the 2-colour OH/NO PLIF to measure the temperature distribution in complex flames, and so on. Further, I would like to use the quantum chemistry cooperated with kinetic rate calculation to elucidate the formation mechanism of PAHs and soot.
