Where is the conference located?
KAUST Research Conference: Combustion in Extreme Conditions, will take place in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) from March 5 to 8 2018. KAUST is located in Thuwal, which is one hour north of Jeddah. Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is accessible from many main international flight hubs, including Frankfurt, London, New York and Washington D.C.
What is the registration fee?
There is no actual fee to take part in the conference. You will only have to incur travel and accommodation costs. The hotel costs are approximately $150/night. Meals and transportation from airport to KAUST will be provided by us.
What is the process to apply for visa?
Travel fellowships for students, Ph.D. candidates and postdoctoral researchers will be awarded on the basis of merit. Fellowships cover all costs associated with attending the workshop including airfares and accommodation.

What are the eligiblity criteria for Travel Fellowships?
Students, Ph.D. candidates and postdoctoral researchers will be selected on the basis of merit for the Fellowship. Priority will be given to those who will present a paper at the poster session in the conference to foster dialogue.
