Research Interests

​Detection of variety of gas species at low concentrations is very important in a number of fields such as biomedical sensors, environmental monitoring and chemical kinetics. Highly selective and sensitive detection is achievable through optical techniques, in particular, laser spectroscopy. My research focuses on the development of advanced laser-based sensors using quantum-cascade laser technology.
