Research Interests

I investigated optical characteristics and parameters of gas-discharge plasma based on mixtures of mercury dihalide vapor with gases.Data on the optical characteristics and parameters of the working medium of radiation sources (gas-discharge plasma on mercury dihalide vapor mixtures and gases) make it possible to diagnose the spectral composition of plasma radiation, to reveal their optimal component composition, at which the maximum intensity of radiation in the spectral range being studied is determined, as well as define pulse characteristics of radiation.The actuality of this work is due to the need to establish the physico - chemical regularities that occur in gas-discharge sources on multicomponent mixtures of mercury dihalide vapor with gases and methods for increasing the efficiency of radiation of a gas-discharge plasma in the blue-green, violet-blue and ultraviolet spectral range.
