Research Interests

  • Reaction Engineering
  • Design, installation, automation and use of different reactors (counterflow reactors, CSTR, and diffusion flames) to study reaction kinetics of combustion/pyrolysis, fuel chemistry and ignition properties of conventional and alternative fuels so that pollution effects from combustion systems can be reduced​
  • The use of advanced analytical chemistry tools for diagnostics
  • Optimization and reduction of large kinetic models for use in simulation of multi-dimensional reacting flows 
  • Numerical modeling and kinetic analysis on the effects of fuel structures on reactivities of alternative and conventional fuels ​
