The Clean Combustion Research Center organized a seminar by Prof. Avinash Agarwal on the ‘Contribution of Engine Research Laboratory to Internal Combustion Engine Science and Technology : Journey from 2001-15’.
Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, who is currently the “Poonam and Prabhu Goyal Endowed Chair Professor” of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India talked about how hydrogen has emerged as an excellent fuel that produces fever emissions and has superior engine performance.
He discussed the combustion and emission behavior of hydrogen-air mixture in a single cylinder engine and controlling NOx emissions using laser ignition technique.
